The dust and particles we breathe in every day can have a detrimental effect on our health.

Depending on the size and type of the dust particles, the effects can range from minor irritation causing coughing and sneezing, through to serious health issues such as Silicosis and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Mairin can provide real time monitoring of dust levels as well as measuring inhalable and respirable dust exposure levels.

If it is suspected that employees may be exposed to excessive dust levels, monitoring will confirm the exposure and assist in identifying problem locations and developing control strategies.

Where dust levels are high, and if required, we can organise analysis of silica content to determine whether the exposure limits are being exceeded.
